Patnaik was angry with Das's choice of profession, say friends

Mumbai, Nov 28 (UNI) Avinash Patnaik, the youth from Orissa, who killed the mother and uncle of his former girlfriend Model Moon Das last Thursday, was not happy with the choice of Das's profession and had constant fights, said friends and sources close to Avinash.

Patnaik's friends said he was upset over the publication of Moon's sleazy photographs in city's magazines, which led to frequent quarrels between the two. Das was approached by many B-grade film producers to work in adult and semi-pornographic films, that drove the possessive lover mad.

Local newspapers have published Moon Das's semi-nude photograph that was published in 'Debonair' magazine's 32nd anniversary, which carried a report stating that Patnaik had a big fight with Das over it. The report said Das was also part of an escort agency in Mumbai.

It also quoted the manager of a detective agency, who was keeping a watch on Das on instructions from Patnaik, but the agency abandoned the surveillance as it was not paid for its services.
