OVL wins two oil blocks in Brazil

New Delhi, Nov 28 (UNI) Country's flagship oil explorer Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) today said its overseas arm, ONGC Videsh Ltd (OVL), has secured two exploration blocks in Brazil.

These oil blocks are -- deepwater Block 470 in the Espirito Santo basin and shallow water Block 1413 in another Santos basin.

Consortia led by Petrobras and Perenco have also bid for Block 470, while Petrobras and Ecopetrol have submitted bids for Block 1413, a statement said.
