Itanagar, Nov 28 (UNI) At least one person died and 12 were seriously injured in a powerful grenade blast at Bordumsa market in Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh today.
Official sources said an unidentified militant lobbed a grenade in the market at around 1730 hours injuring 13 people. However, one succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital.
Though identification of the organization involved in the blast was yet to be ascertained, unofficial sources said ULFA militants might have been involved in the blast.
The seriously injured have been shifted to hospitals at Margherita and Tinsukia in Assam, sources added.
