Patna, Nov 28 (UNI) LJP Chief and Union Steel and Fertiliser Minister Ram Vilas Paswan today alleged that the Nitish Kumar government had failed on all fronts while aspirations of people from the NDA government failed short of expectations.
Addressing a mammoth rally of his party here, Mr Paswan said even after completion of its two years in office, the Nitish Kumar government had failed to improve the law and order situation in the state.
Despite its tall claims, the NDA government had not succeeded in bringing any tangible investments in Bihar, he said adding no new industrial unit in the state had been established during the last two years.
Mr Paswan alleged that Mr Kumar was trying to divide dalits by introducing the new term ''Maha Dalit'' and said attempts were being made to isolate four castes of Scheduled Castes (SC) from various welfare schemes of the government.
'' The untouchable castes were placed under SC status and if Mr Kumar was really serious in uplifting the most downtrodden section of society, he should constitute Safai Karamchari Ayog to redress their problems,'' he observed.
Mr Paswan alleged that the NDA government had failed to provide relief to flood victims in north Bihar and Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) had disbursed the edible and other material to them at a cost of Rs 20 crore on his initiatives.
