Haryana to organise adventure camps for women players

Chandigarh, Nov 28 (UNI) The Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs Department has decided to organise two adventure camps for as many as 127 women players of the state in collaboration with Haryana Tourism Development Corporation at Tikkertal of Morni Hills from November 29 to December 2.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Department said that the camps for the adventurous activities of canoeing, kayaking, rafting, night camping and trekking would be organised for the women players who bagged the first positions in the various competitions held during the Haryana State Women Sports Function.

The first camp would be organised from November 29 to November 30 for 63 women players of the districts of Sonipat, Hisar, Jind, Rewari and Ambala. The second camp of 64 women players would be organised from December 1 to December 2 for the players of the districts of Bhiwani, Jhajjar, Kurukshetra, Faridabad, Sirsa, Panchkula and Gurgaon.
