Srinagar, Nov 28 (UNI) Heavy fog and poor visibility cut off air links between the Kashmir valley and the rest of the world as all flights, including two of Indian carrying Haj pilgrims to Saudi Arabia, were cancelled for the third consecutive day today.

Airport sources told UNI that no flight could either land or take off from the Srinagar Airport due to heavy fog cover and poor visibility in the area since early this morning.

Indian had to operate two flights today to carry Jammu and Kashmir Haj pilgrims to Jeddah.

Giving details, they said the heavy fog forced cancellation of all the flights of Jet Airways, Indian, SpiceJet, GoAir, Kingfisher, Jetlite and Deccan. Some of the airlines operate two flights a day.

Barring the lone Haj flight of Indian, no airline could operate its services to and from the Kashmir valley yesterday due to fog.
