Jamshedpur, Nov 28 (UNI) Condemning Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) supremo Sibu Soren's remarks on the Assam incident, leaders of pro-adivasi parties today said he should not do politics on the dead bodies of Adivasis.

In a press meet here, Jharkhand People's Party (JPP) general secretary Surya Singh Besra, Jharkhand Party (Horo) working president C R Majhi and Jharkhand Party (Naren) general secretary Shailendra Maithy dubbed Mr Soren as the ''broker'' of the Congress and said the JMM should withdraw support to the UPA government at the Centre to lodge its protest against the Assam violence.

Mr Soren, who visited Guwahati after Saturday's incident gave clean chit to the Assam government, saying the incident was minor and the media had projected it as serious.

'' He is no more the Guruji of the tribals and his Guruji title should be stripped after his comment on Guwahati mayhem, '' said Mr Besra.

He said Mr Soren along with a delegate of Jharkhand Ministers went Guwahati to support the tribals, who were brutally attacked during a rally and even women were stripped and forced to run on the street.

Mr Soren instead of supporting them was busy shielding the Tarun Gogoi-led Congress government in Assam.

The leaders also condemned Mr Soren's remarks about media in which he reportedly said the media had exaggerated Saturday's incident.

They said the Jharkhand-named parties and organisations would organise ''Delhi Chalo'' programme on December 4 and 5.

They would meet the mediapersons here on December 4 to apprise them of the next course of action.

In the next day, a delegation of tribals from Jharkhand and Assam would meet the President, Prime Minister and Home Minister to submit a memorandum urging them to bring a Bill in the monsoon session of Parliament to accord Schedule Tribes status to the tribals of Assam, residing in the state for more than hundred years, the leaders said.
