Two militants arrested, arms and ammunition recovered in Kashmir
Srinagar, Nov 27 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police arrested two militants and recovered some arms and ammunition while ultra attacked a security force post in the Kashmir valley overnight, a police spokesman said.
He said militants attacked a police party when they raided the house of one Bashir Ahmad Dar at Beerwah in the central Kashmir district of Badgam.
Police personnel also retaliated but the militants managed to escape. Later one UBGL grenade was recovered from the house.
Spokesman said, police at Handwara arrested two militants, Ghulam Mohiuddin Bhat and Javid Ahmad Mallah at Waripora.
Militant hurled a grenade towards a security force picket near bus stand at Sopore. However, it exploded at a distance without causing any damage.
