Mumbai, Nov 27 (UNI) Prices of tin slab, zinc, lead and aluminium ingots in ferrous and non ferrous metals today advanced again on firm advice from London Metal Exchange (LME) along with Kolkata, Delhi and other centres, traders at the Bombay Metal Exchange (BME) said.
In the ferrous category (per quintal), copper heavy and copper utensils were unchanged, while Brass utensils advanced by Rs 100 on sustained heavy demand from industrial users.
In the non-ferrous category (per quintal), aluminium igots, zinc slab and lead ingots prices also edged up by Rs 100, Rs 300 and Rs 300 respectively on fresh industrial users demand induced by bullish advice from LME, along with Kolkata, Delhi, Indore and southerN regions.
Similarly, tin slab rose by Rs ten per kg on renewed industrial users demand induced by firm LME, along with Kolkata, Delhi and other centres, traders added. But nickel cathode crashed by Rs ten to Rs 1400 on poor demand from local dealers and better stocks.
Following are the spot metal prices per quintal: Ferrous metals: Copper heavy - Rs 33,700, Copper utensils - Rs 31,300, Brass utensils - Rs 24,500, Brass cuttings - Rs 25,000 and Aluminium utensils - Rs 10,800.
Non-ferrous metals: Copper wire bars - Rs 37,000, Aluminium ingots - Rs 12,300, Zinc slab - Rs 13,000, Lead ingots - Rs 13,000, Tin slab - Rs 800 per kg and Nickel cathode - Rs 1,400 per kg.
