Navi Mumbai, Nov 27 (UNI) Wholesale spot sugar prices rallied for the second consecutive day today by Rs 15 per quintal on brisk bulk consumers demand in the face of lesser arrival of stocks from co-operative mills, traders at the Bombay Sugar Merchant's Association said.
Prices of Small grade and Medium grade went up further by Rs 15 and Rs 10 per quintal respectively due to lack of offers from stockists because of shortage of better quality sugar in the domestic markets.
Sugar in Ex-mill, Small and Medium grades also hardened by Rs 20 per quintal each on sustained brisk buying support from big dealers, traders added.
