Police seize huge arms and ammunition

Malkangiri, Nov 27 (UNI) A combing operation conducted jointly by the Special Operation Group (SOG) and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Motu area today led to the recovery of huge arms and ammunition.

Malkangiri district Superintendent of Police S K Gajbhiye said the security personnel seized two more clay mines, two land mines, six detonators, one pistol, a long pressure mine and some wires after conducting raids in the naxalite dominated area of Motu.

He said the security personnel swung into action acting on a tip-off provided by a one Dulla, a naxalite who recently surrendered before the Police with arms and ammunition.
