No confidence motion against Raman government
Raipur, Nov 27 (UNI) Opposition Congress today moved in the state assembly a no-confidence motion against Dr Raman Singh-led BJP government in Chhattisgarh.
This is the first no confidence motion against Dr Raman Singh government since the BJP came to power in December 2003.
As the no-confidence motion, moved by leader of the Opposition Mahendra Karma, was supported by the required number of members, Speaker Prem Prakash Pandey admitted it for debate in the House.
''The debate on the no-confidence motion will be taken up from 1200 hrs on November 30'', the Speaker said.
