International Trade Expo begins in Chandigarh on Dec one

Chandigarh, Nov 27 (UNI) As a sequel to the IPEX 05 held at Amritsar, PHD Chamber is organising an International Trade Exposition ITEX 2007 in collaboration with Chandigarh Administration, and Government of Punjab as the partner state from December one to five at Parade Ground here.

This would be one of the major expositions to be held north of Delhi which would have special pavilions to showcase various industrial segments including agriculture, food processing, farm machinery, textiles, knitwear, spinning and weaving , authomobiles information technology, banking and finance, FMCG products, real estate etc.

Haryana Chief Minister shall visit the Trade Fair on December one, while Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal will be the chief guest on December three.

Special seminars and conferences shall be organised during the event to have a fair exchange of views, and share information of mutual benefit for the participating local regional, national, and international exhibitors. ITEX 07 indeed shall be the global makret place for the entrepreneurs looking at networking opportunities with some of the leading names in the industry.

Concurrent to the ITEX 2007, a series of international conferences shall be organised on various issues of concern in various sectors with speakers of international repute, presentations by leading industrialists and corporate.

The IPEX-05 at Amritsar was a grand success with over 1.5 lakh visitors from corporate houses, business sectors and industry looking for business opportunity with a large number of participants from Pakistan. Besides Pakistan, businessmen from Netherlands, Switzerland, Malaysia and even Mynamar are participating in this event.
