Haryana Pavilion receives queries worth Rs 37 cr

Chandigarh, Nov 27 (UNI) The Haryana Pavilion in the 27th India International Trade Fair, 2007 held at New Delhi from November 14 to 27 has received 15,123 domestic and other international export trade queries worth about Rs 37 crore.

Stating this at New Delhi today, the Chief Administrator Haryana Trade Fair Authority P K Mahapatra today said that these queries were related to the areas of agro industries, automobile parts, non conventional source of energy, electrical components, cement industry products, solar energy based appliances and food processing.

The prominence was given to the theme "Processed Food and Agro Industries" as prescribed by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) and 90 stalls of various products were put up in the pavilion.

As much as six conferences on various subjects were also organised in the pavilion where useful information regarding trade and agriculture products was given to the farmers and entreprenuers by the experts of the subjects from various commercial organisations.

He said export related enquiries were received from countries like Brazil, Kenya, Poland, Abu Dhabi, Kazakhistan, Panama, Afghanistan, Bangkok, France, Costa Rica, UAE, Thailand, Columbia and Dubai.

He said that industries who had export related queries included M/s Alankar Cable, Murthal, M/s Natraj Cables, Ambala City, M/s Naldhera Building Centre, Faridabad, M/s Solanand Solar System, Ambala City, M/s Jagdamba Exports, Kundli, M/s H P Cotton Textile Mills, Hisar.

He said that around 90 exhibits had put up their stall at the pavilion.
