Four members of inter-state gang of robbers held
Yamunanagar, Nov 27 (UNI) The Haryana Police has arrested four members of an inter-state gang of robbers here and recovered Rs 4.5 lakh from their possession.
Yamunanagar Superintendent of Police (SP) C S Rao today said the four criminals were nabbed in the city last night when they were planning to go for a loot. They were identified as Vipin, Sanjay, Mahavir and Manoj of Yamunanagar.
The four accused, along with three other criminals of Uttar Pradesh, were involved in several cases of robbery and loot, the SP said.
They were booked under Sections 398, 410 of the IPC and Sections 25, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act.
Another member of the gang was currently lodged in Saharanpur jail, he added.
