Una Congress candidate confident of winning elections

Una, Nov 26 (UNI) Congress candidate from Una constituency Virender Gautam today expressed confidence that the party will register a win in the coming elections.

He said Una segment would return him victorious with a huge margin in the state assembly elections.

Meanwhile, former congress legislator OP Rattan, who lost a prolonged battle for the ticket from the constituency, said he would not oppose the decision of the party high command.

However, about 100 of his supporters today gathered at his residence and deplored the party decision for denying him the ticket.

They contended that Mr Gautam was unwell for the last many years and hence could not give his best as party candidate in the elections.

They said Mr Rattan had the capability to contest and win the elections for the party in Una.
