Six Ministers posses land in Capital city

Bhubaneswar, Nov 26 (UNI) Parliament Member Sangita Singh Deo, wife of Orissa Housing and Urban Development Minister K V Singh Deo, has occupied a plot of government land in the Ganganagar area of the capital city, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik told the Assembly here today.

Replying to a question of Mr Narasingha Mishra (Cong), the Chief Minister said Mrs Singh Deo had applied for permissive possession of the 0.127 acre plot occupied by her.

In addition to it, at least six ministers posses land within the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation area.

The Minister were-A U Singh Deo (one acre), Mr Chaitanya Prasad Majhi (0.124 acre), Mr Biswabhushan Harichandan (0.117 acre), Mr Prafulla Chandra Ghadhei (0.069 acre), Mr Surendranath Naik(0.128 acre) and Mr Surya Narayan Patro (0.230 acre), Mr Patnaik said.
