New Delhi, Nov 26 (UNI) The Government does not maintain any list of illegal migrants, but help those who want to return home, Minister of State for External Affairs Anand Sharma informed the Lok Sabha today.

''It is only those in the A grade black list, which includes people who commit terrorist activites, have potential to threaten the integrity of the country or are convicted of heinous offences such as murder and rape, who are not issued visas or permit documents.... This list is not reviewed,'' he said replying to short-duration discussion on non-issuance of visas and passorts to Indians living abroad.

In case of B grade black list, Mr Sharma said, it is reviewed after every ten years.

''No bona fide person is denied permit document to return to India,'' he added.

On those immigrants who are trapped by travel agents, he said there was a need to sensitise them not to get lured by such elements.

Earlier, the debate was resumed by Mr Thawar Chand Gehlot (BJP).
