Committee decides to continue security at Ajmer Dargah
Chennai, Nov 26 (UNI) The two-day meeting of Ajmer Dargah Committee, a statutory body of the Centre, has decided to continue the foolproof security at the Dargah to protect its property and people living in the vicinity.
In a statement here today, Committee President Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali said the security would further be strengthened by installing sensitive high beam cameras, x-ray machines, metal detectors and deploying ex-servicemen at sensitive locations of the Shrine.
The Rajasthan Government had finalised a comprehensive security plan and it would be implemented with the help of the Centre and the state government.
The meeting, which concluded yesterday, decided to create a congenial atmosphere for the eviction of unauthorised occupants inside the Shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, he added.
