CM's plea to clear pending cases
Puducherry, Nov 26 (UNI) Chief Minister N Rangasamy today called upon judges to expedite cases to wipe out pendencies.
Speaking at the Law Day function here, Mr Rangasamy also exhorted lawyers to give adequate support to the judges to clear the cases at the earliest.
Stating all facilities would be provided to the court complex here, Mr Rangasamy said there was a demand for construction of a criminal court and separate accomodation for the Bar Association at the new court complex, which would be done soon.
Mr Rangasamy also handed over a cheque for Rs ten lakh to the Lawyers Welfare Fund.
