Hyderabad, Nov 26 (UNI) The opposition Bharatiya Janata Party Kisan Morcha will hold its national meet here on December 3 to intensify its stir in support of farmers.

Informing this to the reporters here today, BJP state president Bandaru Dattatreya said leaders from 13 paddy growing states would participate in the meet to chalk out an action plan to wage a relentless struggle against the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance Government at the Centre.

The party would not rest until the Manmohan Singh Government hiked the Minimum Support Price for all crops as per the formula evolved by noted farm scientist M S Swaminathan, waived off interest on loans given to farmers and reduced the interest rate on fresh loans to four per cent, he asserted.

The package for farmers in suicide-prone districts by the Prime Minister had not helped in arresting the suicide trend among them, he lamented, adding the farmers' response was tremendous to the party's ''Poru Bhata'' stir organised earlier under the leadership of party national president Rajnath Singh in East and West Godavari districts.
