94 new posts to be created in Govt printing press
Nagpur, Nov 26 (UNI) A total of 94 new posts will be created in the seven government printing press in Maharashtra.
The posts are being created in view of the work load at these establishments and the average annual cost involved is Rs 1.58 crore, said the Industries, Energy and Labour (IEL) Department in its proposal in the supplementary demands for 2007-2008 which were tabled before the Legislature here last week.
The new posts will be created at Yervada Prison Press in Pune, Central Jail Press in Nagpur, Government Central Press in Mumbai, Government Photozinco Press in Pune, Government Press in Kolhapur, Government Press in Nagpur and Government Press in Aurangabad.
The 94 posts include (pay scales in brackets) 19 of Assistant Supervisor DTP (Rs 5000-150-Rs 8000), 3 of Process Supervisors (Rs 5000-150-Rs 8000), 6 of Offset Supervisors (Rs 5000-150-Rs 8000), 2 of Assistant Supervisors (Process) (Rs 4500-125-Rs 7000), 5 of Assistant Supervisors (Offset) (Rs 4500-125-Rs 7000) and 59 of DTP Operators (Rs 4500-125-Rs 7000).
The department has sought a token supplementary demand of Rs 1,000 to bring the proposal to the notice of the Legislature.
