Pak Marine Security abducts 42 Indian fishermen

Porbandar, Gujarat, Nov 25 (UNI) As many as 42 Indian fishermen were abducted by the Pakistan Marine Security personnel from the Arabian Sea, off Jakhao Port, yesterday.

According to National Fish Forum (Gujarat Unit) Secretary Manish Lodhari, Pakistan Marine Security personnel abducted 42 fishermen, along with their seven boats, while they were fishing in the Indian waters.

The fishermen belong to Veraval, Mr Lodhari said.

The Indian Coast Guards tried to rescue the fishermen, after they were informed, but could not succeed, Mr Lodhari added.
