Benazir files nomination from Karachi

chairperson,
Benazir
Bhutto
on
Sunday
filed
nomination
papers
for
the
forthcoming
general
elections
in
the
country
from
the
central
Karachi
seat,
which
is
reserved
for
woman
candidates.
She will also be filing her nomination papers from her hometown Larkana, which is very close to Karachi on Monday.
Earlier in the day, she reached the Regional Election Commission Office in the city where hundreds of her party workers were present.
Her supporters chanted pro-party slogans and hailed her as the next Prime Minister.
The elections for the provincial and the federal assemblies are scheduled for January 8.
