New Delhi, Nov 25 (UNI) Former Sri Lanka captain, Marvan Atapattu is all set to take up his new job with the Essel group venture, Indian Cricket League (ICL), as he joined the Delhi jets for the ICL Twenty20 Tournament that kicks off from November 30.
Atapattu will captain the Delhi jets, which is one of six teams named for the tournament. He joined his team yesterday after he announced his retirement from International Cricket a couple of days ago.
Delhi Jets will take on Chandigarh Lions in a practice match at TERI Oval cricket ground tomorrow.
His squad also include some International players like Toufeeq Umar (Pak), Dale Benkenstein (S Africa), Paul Nixon (England).
The Tournament will be held at the newly built cricket stadium at Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex, Sector 3, Panchkula between November 30 and December 16 and Zee sports will catch all the matches Live.
