Tight security outside Taslima's abode in city
New Delhi, Nov 24 (UNI) A tight envelope of security has been thrown around Rajasthan House where Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen has been housed.
A large number of personnel from the Delhi Police and other security personnel have been stationed outside the Rajasthan House where Taslima arrived late yesterday night from the Pink city of Jaipur. Taslima was accompanied by the Rajasthan police and intelligence personnel.
Sources said Taslima is being out of bounds for the public and the press during her stay in the capital city. Infact, the gates of the guesthouse have been locked to keep the public and the press at bay.
The Bengali novelist, on self-exile in India following death threats in Bangladesh, had to shift from Jaipur last evening after the All India Milli Council threatened to hold protests if the writer was kept in Rajasthan for long.
Earlier, she was shifted from Kolkata to Jaipur on Thursday after a Muslim organisation demanded cancellation of her visa and her deportation to Bangladesh.
