Sharif's brother to return back home
London, Nov 24 (UNI) Former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's brother, and PML-N President left from Heathrow today to Jeddah where he will meet his brother tonight from where the two brothers and Nawaz Sharif's wife Kulsoom will fly and reach Lahore by tomorrow evening.
Speaking at the airport Shahbaz Sharif said, ''I am going to my vatan (country). God will take care of us, there is no better protector than Allah.'' ''I am very happy, it is a joyous moment for me to go back to my country. We have a birthright to live there,'' he said.
Asked whether he and his brother would be filing their nominations for the January 8 elections, he gave a rather non-committal reply, saying ''We will consult our party leaders and that of the alliance (APDM) and abide by their decision.'' He expressed 'strong reservation' about the elections being free and fair.
