Bangalore, Nov 24 (UNI) The Karnataka Lok Ayukta conducted a raid on the office and residence of Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) Managing Director Srinivas Reddy and unearthed cash and immovable property, worth more than Rs 20 crore, disproportionate to known sources of his income, here today.
Lok Ayukta Justice Santosh Hegde told reporters here the raid, which began early this morning, was continuing in the office located at Kaveri Bhavan and the residence at Sadashivanagar.
Officials seized cash worth Rs 1.50 crore and documents relating to 18 acre of property, besides passbooks of several banks during the raid.
Mr Hegde gave details of the properties, comprising houses, apartments and plots, owned by his close relatives in various places here.
Mr Reddy also owned agriculture lands at different places in Anekal Taluk, he said.
