Security tightened in Noida
Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Nov 23 (UNI) Security was today tightened in Noida in the wake of the powerful blasts in Uttar Pradesh, which killed 13 people and left over 60 people injured, police said.
Forces were deployed at civil courts, community halls, cinema halls, shopping malls, installations like NTPC and institutions, soon after the blasts, said A Satish Ganesh, SSP Noida.
Increased patrolling was being carried out on the highway and inter-state check points, he said.
The police also procured a printout of the mail, sent by a terrorist group to India TV, claiming responsibility for the serial blasts.
