New Delhi, Nov 23 (UNI) The Kolkata test between India and Pakistan scheduled from November 30 to December 4 will not be rescheduled, despite Wednesday's large scale violence in the city, Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) said here.
BCCI vice president Rajiv Shukla yesterday said, ''As far as the BCCI is concerned, the second Test will not be rescheduled.'' ''However, if the staging association (Cricket Association of Bengal) feels it is not in a position to hold the match, we would take a decision at that time,'' he said.
On Wednesday, demanding immediate expulsion of Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen and protesting against the turbulance in Nandigram, large scale violence broke out in Kolkata.
