Hyderabad off to a good start

Hyderabad, Nov 23 (UNI) Hyderabad got off to a flying start against Baroda in their Ranji Trophy Super League Elite Group-B match at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium here today making 220 runs for the loss of four wickets.

Electing to bat first, Hyderabad got a boost with openers Manohar (71 off 206 balls, 6x4) and Ravi Teja (72 off 118 balls, 6x4) delivering a 175-run partnership for the first wicket in 69 overs.

The duo took Hyderabad to 120 without loss off 37 overs at lunch.

South Paw Anoop Pai made unbeaten 41 off 159 balls in the company of Ahmed Shakeer, Arjun Yadav and Amol Shinde.

Among Baroda bowlers, Irfan Pathan got the wicket of Ravi Teja while Rajesh Pawar grabbed two wickets.

Score: Hyderabad 1st Innings 220/4 (Ravi Teja 72, Manohar 71).
