First Oxygen booth in Karnataka opened
Hubli, Nov 23 (UNI) The first oxygen booth in Karnataka for traffic police constables was inaugurated here today.
The traffic constables who will be on duty continuously for eight hours standing amidst air pollution created by passing vehicles, could have a doze of oxygen from these booths.
Talking to newsmen after opening the booth Commissioner of Police Narayan Nadamani said it was proposed to spend Rs 1.2 crore for improvement of vehicular traffic in the twin city of Hubli-Dharwad.
