Family of three killed in road accident

Patiala, Nov 23 (UNI) A couple and their son were killed this morning when their car collided with a state-run bus on the Patiala-Nabha road about 10 km from here.

According to police, the victims, identified as Baljit Singh (50) his wife Raghbir Kaur (45) and their son Sarab Jot Singh (5) died on the spot after the collision.

The family from Majrian Akalian Village was on way to Dhuri when their car collided with the PRTC bus coming from Nabha to Patiala from the opposite site.

The Driver of the bus fled from the scene.

Police has registered a case at the police station Sadar of Patiala under sections 279, 304, 427 of IPC against the driver of the bus.
