Entry in cyber cafes only after establishing identity
New Delhi, Nov 23 (UNI) As a measure to strengthen security in the city, police today issued an order prohibiting the use of cyber cafes by those whose identity has not been established.
Delhi Commissioner of Police Yudhbir Dadwal, in a written order, said cafe owners must establish the identity of the person before allowing him inside the cafe.
The identity of the visitor must be established through identity card, driving licence, passport and photo credit card (any of them).
A record must be made about the specific computer used by the person while also maintaining a register for indentity of the visitor, it said.
The order will be for a period of 60 days, beginning Sunday.
