Ahmedabad, Nov 23 (UNI) Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Secretary and Gujarat affairs observer Jitendra Awhad today said the NCP and the Congress will issue a joint manifesto for the Gujarat elections.
Talking to mediapersons here today, Mr Ahwad said the NCP and Congress have joined hands to oust the Modi Government which has worked only for the benefit of certain sections of society while ignore the rest.
The Congress and NCP want to bring about all-round development, he said.
''Our joint effort will be aimed at defeating the non-secular forces which have created demons like post-Godhra riots and sullied the birth-place of Mahatama Gandhi,'' he said.
The NCP leader said although his party is contesting only ten seats, four of which already have already been announced by the Central leadership, national leaders of both the parties will campaign in all regions for each other's candidates.
