Top separatist released from Kashmir prison
Srinagar, Nov 22 (UNI) Senior separatist leader and Peoples League chairman Sheikh Abdul Aziz was released from prison after 33 months of detention, reports said today.
It said Aziz was released from the Bijbehara police station last morning.
From there, he was taken to Pampore in a procession, the reports added.
Talking to media after his release, the separatist leader said, ''I will soon decide about my future course of action.'' The moderate Hurriyat Conference, led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, and other separatist groups have welcomed his release.
