Wearing
black
jackets
and
caps,
members
of
the
opposition
in
the
Maharashtra
Legislative
Assembly,
today
staged
demonstrations
to
demand
complete
waiver
of
loans
of
farmers
in
the
state.
They also raised slogans against the incumbent Democratic Front (DF) government in the state and against its alleged failure to provide succour to the distressed farmers, especially in Vidarbha.
They squatted on the steps outside the assembly hall and raised slogans.
Earlier, the members marched in a short procession from the office of the BJP-Shiv Sena combine Legislature Party in the Council Hall premises.
