Mumbai, Nov 22 (UNI) Arpit Goswami's superb knock of 44 runs paved the way for Delhi to enter the finals of the 53rd National Schools Cricket Tournament for Boys U-14 beating I P S C by three wickets here today.
In the finals Delhi will meet Punjab, who defeated Uttar Pradesh by 29 runs in the second semi final match.
I P S C was bowled out by Delhi for 125 runs in 27 Overs.
Rajeshwar Bara was the top scorer with 48 runs (48 balls, 4x5).
For Delhi, Siddharth M took 3 for 20 in 6 overs. In reply, Delhi put a score of 126/7 in 28.6 overs, winning a seat in the finals.
In the other Match, played at Bombay Gymkhana ground Punjab defeated Uttar Pradesh by 29 runs to move ahead to the finals. It was a match of two unequals, wherein Punjab had the upper hand and the stronger side, crushing Uttar Pradesh.
