Civilian beheaded, hideout busted

Jammu, Nov 22: A civilian was beheaded by the militants in Budhal area of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources today said.

They said deceased identified as Mohd Yusuf, living in village Bassi of Reasi district was beheaded yesterday, at Lalu Khetar in Taryath area of Budhal.

''Yusuf was kidnapped by the militants on November 15 from village Bassi and his headless body was recovered last night and handed over to his family, police sources told to the sources.

However, earlier the militants had torched the house of Mohd Yusuf, who was working as a porter with security forces.

Meanwhile security forces and police party today busted a hide-out of the militants at Beda Dhok in Gambhir Mugalan near Harni in Gursai area of Poonch district.

''One AK rifle, two magazines, 32 rounds and one UBGL grenade was recovered from the site of the hideout,'' they said.
