Branch Manager of a rural Bank arrested for taking bribe

Patna, Nov 22 (UNI) The vigilance sleuths today arrested Branch Manager Lakshmi Narayan of Keswa Rural Bank in Gaya district of central Bihar while he was taking bribe.

ADG, Vigilance Bureau, Neelmani said here that Sunaina Devi of Radopur village under Alipur police station of Gaya district had complained that the Branch Manager was demanding Rs 5000 as bribe for realising a vehicle loan.

Following the complaint, the Branch Manager was arrested while he was receiving the bribe.

The Branch Manager was being brought to Patna for further interrogation.
