Mumbai, Nov 21 (UNI) Trouble Vajpayee's all-round performance of 33 runs and three wickets helped his team Rajasthan defeat Orissa by a slender 12 run margin in a quarterfinal match of the 53rd National Schools Cricket Tournament for Boys U-14 held at the P J Hindu Gymkhana here today.
In the other match, Maharashtra defeated Tamil Nadu by 8 wickets to move ahead in the semifinals. It was a one sided affair where the state team blasted the Tamil Nadu side all over the park eventually winning the match with 4.3 overs to spare. The star performer for them was Sudam Gawli with a knock of 37 runs and with the ball Kushant Agarwal and Sachin Gawli took four wickets each.

Oval Maidan - Tamil Nadu 105 all-out in 20 overs (Kushant Agrawal and Sachin Gawli four wickets each) lost to Maharashtra 106 for 2 in 15.3 overs (Sudam Gawli 37 in 39 balls) by 8 wickets.
P J Hindu Gymkhana - Rajasthan 123 for 6 in 20 overs (Trouble Vajpayee 33 in 16 balls) bt Orissa 111 for 9 in 20 overs (Trouble Vajpayee 3/26) by 12 runs.
