Mumbai, Nov 21 (UNI) Central Railway (CR) is running 12 unreserved special trains between Chhatrapati Shivaji terminus here and Chhapra to clear the extra rush of passengers, a CR spokesperson said today.
The special service will remain effective from November 20 to December 28, the official said.
The special unreserved service (5101-A Chhapra - CST Mumbai) will leave Chhapra at 2100 hrs on every Tuesday till December 25, and arrive CST Mumbai at 1830 hrs on Thursday. Similarly, the special service from Mumbai (5102-A CST Mumbai- Chhapra) will leave CST at 1535 hrs on every Friday from November 23 and arrive Chhapra at 1720 hrs on Sunday.
These special trains will run with 18 general second class coaches including two general second class-cum-guards brake vans.
