Jammu, Nov 21 (UNI) The Crime Branch Department filed a chargesheet against a person for running a business of downloading pornographic material on the cell phones of young boys and girls, official sources said here today.
On a complaint received by the Crime Branch, the sleuths raided a shop near the Jammu Women College in the city area and arrested one Rajesh Kumar, a resident of Jammu, the sources said.
During the raid, the Crime Branch officers recovered more than 500 pornographic clippings loaded in the personal computer of the accused, which he used to download in mobile phones and CDs.
''He was running a business of downloading pornographic material on the cell phones of boys and girls through computer with the help of blue tooth device,'' the sources told UNI.
A prima facie offence under section 67 of the Information Technology Act was established against the accused and chargesheet of the case was presented before the court of law for judicial determination, the sources added.
