Jalandhar NIT to conduct training programme

Jalandhar, Nov 21 (UNI) Dr BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology here would organise a five-day training programme on 'Hydrocarbon Engineering and Management' from tomorrow.

Nearly 40 participants from various prestigious institution would be taking part in the training programme, which is being sponsored by Hydrocarbon Engineering Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) of Government of India, a press release stated here today.

During the training programme, the topics covered included Fuel Refining, Lube Refining, Oil and Gas Economics, Refinery Distillation Processes, Domestic Pricing Issues in Oil and Gas, Transportation of Oil and Gas, Role of Oil and Gas in World Economy.

Various eminent personalities from Institute of Petroleum Management, Ahmedabad, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, Gas Authority of India Limited, New Delhi, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Indian Oil Corporation, Jalandhar, Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology, Amritsar among others would be attending the training programme as Resource Persons.

Aligarh Muslim University, Guru Gobind Indraprashtha University, New Delhi, Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur, Deenbandhu University of Science and Technology, Murthal, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, Beant College of Engineering and Technology, Gurdaspur, IITT College of Engineering, Pojewal, Seth Jai Prakash Mukund Lal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Radaur would be among others, attending the training programme.
