New Delhi, Nov 21 (UNI) A day after rumours that Deccan Aviation Ltd might go for a reverse merger with UB Group's Kingfisher Airlines, Deccan today said it is not considering any such proposal.

''No proposals relating to members of Kingfisher Airlines with the Company, has been considered by the Board of Directors of the Company as on date,'' said Deccan in a statement.

Deccan is ready to get clearance to launch its international operations mid-2008 after it completes the mandatory five years of domestic operations before it is allowed to fly foreign routes.

With UB group holding nearly 46 per cent stake in Deccan Aviation, a merger deal could mean Kingfisher may well be on its way to operate on international routes.

UB had mandated Accenture to explore all ways and means by which to restructure the two airlines.
