Guwahati, Nov 21(UNI) Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi met a group of investors from the United States and discussed prospects on investment in adventure and eco-friendly tourism in Assam.
He met them at his official residence at Khanapara in the city here late yesterday evening. This is the first visit by potential investors as a follow-up to the Chief Minister's visit to New York in September last.
The group also evinced keen interests in exploring potential opportunities to source organic products for export including spices, exotic fruits and vegetables besides tea.
