Bomb threat at Sabarimala
Kozhikode, Nov 21 (UNI) The city police today received an anonymous phone call threatening a bomb explosion at famous Sabarimala hill shrine later in the day.
Special branch police told UNI that an anonymous caller telephoned to the City Commissioner's office and said that a bomb, which had been planted at the pilgrimage centre would explode around 1500 hrs.
The call at 1355 hrs was traced to a Middle East mobile number 966122737276, they said.
The State police headquarters and police stations near the hill Shrine were alerted about the threat, they added.
