2 farmers commit suicide over penury
Mahoba, Nov 21 (UNI) Driven by abject poverty, two farmers allegedly committed suicide in the drought hit Bundelkhand area of the district today.
Raj Singh (30) of Kharka village threw himself in front of a speeding train in Jhansi-Manikpur railway section.
He took the extereme step after failing to repay the debts due to financial hardships, police said.
In an asynchronous incident, Raj Bahadur (22) hanged himself from the ceiling of his house, at village Singhanpu Baghari.
