New Delhi, Nov 20: Congress General Secretary and young MP Rahul Gandhi gave a unique gift to underprivileged children on the World Child Rights Day by holding special show of 'Chak De India' for them and watching the movie with them. Rahul alongwith Women and Child Development Minister Renuka Chowdhury not only saw the movie, which depicted the resurgent spirit of young Indians, but also addressed the children and mingled with them. They also distributed toys to them.

The Minister also briefed the 300 underprivileged children about various programmes run by the government for welfare of the children.

Later, Rahul and Ms Chowdhury also visited Vatsalaya, the pavilion of the Ministry of Women and Child Development in Hall No 16 in IITF and motivated the women self help group (SHG) members to come forward and sell their products with confidence and vigour. He was very appreciative of the efforts of the Ministry in providing a platform for selling products of the SHG's.
