One killed and 23 structures gutted in Kashmir

One
person
was
killed,
while
23
structures,
including
a
plastic
factory,
were
gutted
in
the
Kashmir
valley
overnight.
Official sources said fire broke out in a plastic factory at industrial estate Rangreth in the central Kashmir.
It took several hours to control the flames, they said adding property worth lakhs was destroyed.
In another incident 15 structures were gutted in a devastating fire at Sawan Bahak in Kokernag area of south Kashmir district of Anantnag. The cause of the fire was not yet known.
Seven other houses and structures were reduced to ashes at Sumbal, Anantnag and Ompora Badgam. The cause of the fire was not known, sources said adding no one was, however, injured in these incidents.
One person was killed when his tractor overturned at Khalal, Tral, in Pulwama district.
